Ainsley's graduation

Ainsley has finished up her year at her Montessori school. When I look back on this year, it is amazing how much she has learned. About this time last year, I decided (relatively spur of the moment) that I wanted to put Ainsley into this preschool program. I never had a chance to observe the class. I went solely on the glowing recommendations of several of our friends. Normally when I make a decision, I like to get as much information as possible first. I like to observe, if possible. This time, I just felt this was the right decision. I am so pleased with the program. Mrs. T and Mrs. C are wonderful, caring teachers. Ainsley has learned a lot academically, which is really exciting to me. More importantly though, she has gained in her confidence and her independence. (Even though it is hard to think of a 4 year old gaining independence, ultimately that is what we are working for.) :-)
Ainsley's part in the program involved leading the Pledge of Allegiance. The class sang songs for us and got little diplomas.

I like this picture of Ainsley because her smile is real.
