As is our annual tradition, we went to family camp with Jon’s family in March. We go to Village Creek State Park and share a 4 bedroom duplex. Our crew includes our family, Granddad & Grandmama, Auntie Em, and Uncle Clay, Aunt Rachel,& Cousins Anna & Ben.
It was cool enough outside to have a fire in the fireplace (so of course we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows). The kids rode bikes and scooters in the driveway. I think they all played together well.

Bonding with Granddad (almost literally!)
On Saturday morning, there was a program for the kids. It was about birds. We had it to ourselves, so they got to be up close and be hands-on.
At the end of the program, they each designed their own bird mask. Here they are in all their glory (Left to right: Ben, Asher, Anna, Ainsley)
On Sunday, we had a devotional and communion time together. Jon is doing a lesson for the kids.
Right before we left, we took a short walk near the visitor center. The kids actually posed for me!
I am glad we continue this tradition each year.
