Birthday Weekend

Every year, some of the family's birthdays (on Jon's side) always fall when Granddad and Grandmama are out of the country. Others are really close to major holidays or other family birthdays (we have a cluster in June and July). This year, we did a birthday celebration weekend for all of our 2008 birthdays. We had it at the family center at the church building. The kids played ball and rode bikes, and we all had a meal together. I think it worked out great.
