Ainsley’s First Real Haircut

Ainsley has had her hair trimmed several times to keep the tangles from getting too bad, but recently she expressed a real interest in getting her hair cut. She wanted it about up to her shoulders. She never had expressed more than a passing interest before, so we decided it was the perfect time to take our almost 5 year old to get a “big girl” hair cut.

She got the full treatment—complete with washing and blow drying.

I think it makes her look older. She got some really cute handmade hair bows from some of her classmates that have been working really well. It was a little bit hard for me to let go of the curls, but I am so happy with how it turned out.
