Here is Ainsley playing in our yard. She was really excited to wear her snowsuit (the red around her ankles are her pants underneath! I will have to retire this snowsuit soon!) I did have to disappoint her, though--she wanted to build a snowman and it just wasn't going to happen!

Misty--our chocolate lab. You can't really tell in this picture, but every muscle is tensed waiting for me to kick her tennis ball.
Then last night we got some more snow--since it was special, before we went to bed we actually got Ainsley up so she could see it. It took her a minute, but she cracked half a smile and said, "Snow!" before zonking out again. How often does a parent attempt a manuever like that? And how often does it work? :-)
Jon took this pic right before we went to bed.
This morning Ainsley went sledding--ok, Jon had to improvise, but it worked well!
Ainsley is wearing the overalls from Auntie Em underneath her snowsuit--nice and warm--thanks Auntie Em!
Dad and Asher (who just woke up and got bundled up before he even ate breakfast!)

This is a great idea... I am so glad you have started this. It give me an opportunity to not only see my babies but to show them off!!
Glad you got them up for the snow.. it was always a big deal with Josephine and I were growing up...
Love you all much, Auntie Em
Well I sure can not spell or speak English... Auntie Em
Glad Ainsley got to experience some snow! Great pictures too!
It looks like you guys took advantage of the snow you did have, and a great time was had by all! Maybe next time you'll get enough for that snowman! (I love snow, too, but I'm about ready for it to melt now after having it on the ground for two months straight! LOL...)
