Tomorrow the kids and I will begin a journey to Ohio. My Grandma K (my mom's mom) is having her 80th birthday party this Sunday, and I wanted to be there. Plus, she has never seen Asher. So we begin our journey . . .
We go to Memphis tomorrow and will stay with Jon's parents (where my brother-in-law will set up a dvd player in our van for Ainsley--woo-hoo! Thanks for letting us borrow it Auntie Em!) Then we will drive to Tommy's parent's house in Louisville, about 8 hours, I think. They are opening their home for us--that is very nice of them! Then we will go the rest of the way Saturday--about 6 hours I think.
It will be difficult, but I've got a plan, and the result will be worth it. I don't get to go to visit my grandparents very often any more, so this will be good. My parents are arriving there on Saturday, as well, so I will have help!
I must get to bed--I need my rest for the next 3 days of driving!
Keep our safety in your prayers. Thanks!

Oh, a trip to Ohio : ) How nice! Wish we were joining you. We are thinking of going in August, flying though not driving. Just imagine the drive to Ohio from Washington! I hope things go smoothly and you have a great time!
