Gutters

We had our house built 6 years ago. Gutters were not included in the negotiated price. I didn't think they were that important--I thought they were more of a convenience thing so you didn't get really wet going out the door. Turns out, we had splash damage to our back door/threshold. Last month, we had the damage repaired. We put a brand new door on the back, and he fixed the front door area.
Next, we had gutters put on the house. I researched online and made a bunch of phone calls. 4 people came to do an estimate. We settled on Wright Siding Co. They did an excellent job--we are really pleased with their work, how quickly they came, and their customer service.

I can relate to this post in a way! Our house doesn't have gutters either. When we moved in, we had a put in a new back door because of mold/mildew on the outside of the door. Guess what...damage once again to our 2 year old door! We're going to get a storm door whenever we replace it. Who knows if we'll ever get gutters.
