Our dog is in, well, she is in the dog house!
For part of the back story on this, you need to know that we have a new nephew of the canine variety. His name is Chopper and he lives with cousin Anna and cousin Ben. Chopper was going to get a nice little Nylabone for Christmas (he is a small dog). Misty decided she didn't want to share, so last night, she chewed open the packaging and completely ate Chopper's bone. This was a non-edible bone designed for chewing puppies. She must have wolfed it down, too, because we never knew she was doing it until Jon found some discarded cardboard. After some scolding and a bit of irritation, we all went to bed. Fast forward to . . .
5:30 AM
Question: What is the noise you would least like waking up to?
If you picked the noise of a dog vomiting on carpet, you have good company here!
So, that is how our day started today. Mine has improved from there--I hope Jon's has, too. He was primary-vomit-cleaner-upper this morning! (Thanks, Jon!)
P.S. Don't worry Chopper, we won't make you suffer for your cousin's misbehavior!

I can completely relate to this sound. Nothing gets you out of bed faster than a dog heaving (in our case it is on our bed!). You jump out of bed with the dog and are darting to find the closest linolium or tile that you can find! hahaha!
