Misty update

Misty seems to have recovered from eating the nylabone. She had one more morning of throwing up, but that seems to be it. However, last Saturday, we came home and she had had an accident on the floor. She was a tiny puppy the last time she did that, so we knew something was up. We let her outside and she kept trying to go to the bathroom over and over. We concluded that she must have a bladder infection. She seemed really miserable, so I didn't want to wait until Monday. Our vet was closed at noon, so I called around and found that PetSmart had a vet clinic open until 5. I took her over there, and they confirmed that she did indeed have a whopper of an infection. She is on some powerful (and expensive!) anti-biotics. She started feeling better within about 24 hours. I am really glad we were able to get in to see a vet when we did. We didn't have to pay for the emergency clinic, so that was a blessing, too.
