Over Christmas vacation, Granddad and Grandmama came over to our house, and we all drove down to see Great Grandmother in Louisiana. The trip took about 7 hours (including stop time) each way. It was good to see Grandmother and Charlotte & Randy. We got to enjoy a wonderful meal that Charlotte made, visit with family, and even swim in the pool at the hotel! The kids had a great time. Asher got sick with a fever on the trip home, but other than that, things went pretty smoothly (with quite a bit of help from grandparents!) :-)
