Asher has been enjoying his preschool this year. He is on the young side for his grade level since he has a summer birthday, and I think it has been good for him to experience a classroom setting. Here are some pictures of him in October at his open house. He was so proud to be the one showing us around instead of big sister.
For Asher’s school Christmas party, the students sang a few Christmas songs, and then got to sit on Santa’s lap. Asher had been singing the songs for days at home. Here is what he did instead of singing during the entire first song:
Just covering his bases—making sure everyone gets to see . . .
He had all the parents around me cracking up.
Then came time to sit on Santa’s lap. Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas. He said, “Roller skates. Blue roller skates!” Um . . . this was news to me! He hasn’t ever been roller skating! I think he’s got a bit of a mischievous side to him!
