Halloween

Better late than never, right? :-)

Here is Asher in a dinosaur costume (thanks Hunter, for letting us borrow it!) This got worn around the house by both kids for quite awhile. In fact, I just returned it yesterday!

This is the witch costume I bought for the first Halloween after Jon and I were married. Ainsley found it in our Halloween supplies and put together this costume for her school Halloween party. Reminds me of a costume Kelly wore as a kid, although her broom is a little different. We’ll see if she wears it every year for the next 4 years. . .   ;-)

Notice the striped tights and the tiny black cat strapped to the broom (all her idea, by the way!) She wanted the cat to be like Kiki.

Here is actual Halloween night. As you can see, we swapped costumes around quite a bit! I got the fireman costume at Walgreens for $10. I don’t usually make a habit of buying costumes before Halloween, but this one was well made and came with a very durable hat. Plus, we were needed some boy costumes!

That’s Asher in the fireman suit, and I am assuming that is Ainsley the dinosaur! ;-)

This is Asher’s pumpkin from our trip to the pumpkin patch. Jon carved them with the kids. He did them each individually so they got some great daddy time. (I am so thankful for Jon’s involvement with the kids. He really makes a positive difference in their development.)082

If I remember correctly, this was a design that Ainsley created herself.
