. . . are breaking! Our vacuum cleaner bit the dust on Saturday. We researched new ones on Consumer Reports online. We had vowed to never get another canister vac because we really didn't like dragging the one we had around. We have marks on our door frames and some of our furniture from it. We were very close to buying an upright, but we decided to think about it some more. We have a flight of stairs, and upright vacs are very heavy and unwieldy. We need to be able to vacuum under our bed, as well, and the upright just wouldn't lie flat. We decided to get a canister vac. It is a Kenmore and was #1 on consumer reports for 2006. They were having a very good sale (if we had bought it when we were there the first time, it wouldn't have been on sale.) I am happy with it. As happy as you can be with a vacuum, I guess! :-)
The other item that is breaking is our microwave. About 1/2 the time, when you open it, it starts microwaving! So now I have to unplug it to get the food in and out. Kind of spooky!
