Ainsley and Asher's Health

Well, whether allergies or cold, by that Monday, I was miserable and the kids were feeling bad, too. I developed a sinus infection that hurt from my cheek all the way to my teeth. I was able to get a doctor's appointment first thing in the morning, and got a prescription for Amoxicillan filled. Then I called and got appointments for both kids with their pediatrician. Ainsley was saying her ear hurt and Asher's eye was all puffy. I got an appointment for them right away, as well. They both had ear infections, and both were prescribed Amoxicillan, as well. Amazingly, we did all that and were done by 10:30! That is a feat in itself--truly a blessing when everyone is feeling sick.
Fast forward 10 days to last Wednesday. We all finished our antibiotics that day, but Asher was pulling at his ear. On Thursday morning, he woke up with a fever. So, off we trek to the doctor again. He still had a double ear infection. The doctor prescribed a different anti-biotic, and told us to make sure to have him checked in 3 weeks to make sure the fluid is off his ears. The fever he said could be the ears, or it could be a virus. Grandmama and Granddad visited Thursday to Saturday, so they had to experience Asher being under the weather. Not so bad, except that he wouldn't let me put him down--that means no one else got to hold him much. He didn't even want Daddy!
Fast forward to today. Ainsley woke up from her nap crying with a headache. She had a fever of 102.2. I gave her Tylenol. Then an hour later she threw up. I am hoping it was just from having a fever and her lunch disagreeing with her and not a stomach virus.
