Allergy or cold?

For the most part, I don't think about what genetics the kids will inherit from Jon and me. I have thought that it would be great for them if they got his eyesight and my teeth (the enamel on Jon's teeth is worn away as if he chews lemons all the time), but other than that I haven't thought about it.
Well, this week, I thought of another one to add to the list--it would be nice if they didn't get my allergies! I have had runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing for close to a week now. Unfortunately, so has Asher. He has been pretty miserable, too. I had thought we had a cold, but now I am not so sure. Ainsley has the same symptoms to a lesser degree. So today, I had Jon pick up some generic Claritin for me. We'll see what happens. So far it isn't helping much. I am hoping that means we just have a cold and will be over it soon.
