Asher's first birthday is coming up next week (*sniff!), so last night we invited some friends over to help us celebrate. We had (I think) 22 people come. We had hot dogs for supper. I made the cake. I didn't think it was going to come out well about half way through decorating it, but I was pleased when I finished. Ainsley said that the cake should be blue, so I did that--good choice kiddo!
We sang to him--he looks a little beat up with his
black eye and spot on his head from his helmet, but that didn't stop him from chowing down on his cake and ice cream.
