Jon and I just had our nine-year anniversary! So much has happened in nine years. We have graduated college, lived in 2 apartments and this house, I have had 2 jobs, Jon has had 2 jobs (but has worked for 4 different companies--figure that one out!), we got a dog, we have had 2 children, we have owned 4 different vehicles (2 of which we still own and hope to keep for a long time!).
This entry is all over the place, but I was just thinking about how 9 years ago we would have never pictured ourselves exactly at this place in life. We are not good at making concrete plans for very far ahead, but we had a rough picture in mind. Where we are now is not exactly what we had pictured, but I am definitely happy with our life. There are some things I would do differently, and I have definitely made mistakes, but I am very thankful for everything in my life.
I am a different person now than who I was when Jon and I married. He has made me a better person. (That is definitely not to say that I don't have a long way to go!)
