Strep, round 2

On Saturday evening while we were on our trip to see family, Ainsley got some blister-like bumps on her eyelids. By Sunday, around her eyes was swollen and she had raised blotchy patches on her skin. The call-in nurse I talked to said to give her Benedryl, that it was probably a food allergy or something she got into outside (she was outside a lot on Saturday). The Benedryl helped immediately, so we didn't do anything else other than make lists of what she ate.
Yesterday (Monday) midday she started getting the bumps on her eyelids again, so I gave her Benedryl and talked to the nurse, who said bring her in to see if they could identify what is causing it. So I went in Tuesday morning (when she had no skin issues), and he said it was probably a food allergy, but asked if she had been sick. I said no, but that Asher was finishing up medicine for strep. He looked at Ainsley's throat and said it looked fine, but did a strep test anyway. It came back positive. He seemed to think that is the likely cause of the skin reaction she had. She hadn't acted sick at all, so this is pretty strange to me.
I went for a strep test myself since I had been having a mild scratchy throat and some headaches, but it came back negative. Since the kids hadn't really seemed to be feeling bad, I thought it best to get mine checked out.
