Dressing up
Ainsley has really been fascinated by Thomas trains for awhile now. After Halloween last year, I got her a Thomas costume on clearance. She puts it on occasionally and loves to run around and dance to her music. Recently, I put the costume on Asher. Now he doesn't want to let it go! He looks really cute running around. When I try to get him to take turns, he gets really upset. When Ainsley is wearing it, he pulls on it. It is too big for him, so when it gets to be too much of a hassle, I take it off of him, and he drags it around with him wherever he goes.

Caleb and Katie have a fuzzy purple unicorn costume that came to them in a box of hand-me-downs and is really much too big for either of them. That doesn't stop them from stuffing it with playclothes or pillows and pretending to "ride" it around the living room. It's so fun watching their imaginations come up with new ways to play with things.
